Happy Weekend Everyone!

It's Friday, Yehoo!

We get Marina today after school! Our family has BIG plans this weekend...parties galore and church. Then a really big week next week as well...Monday appointments x 2, Girl Scouts on Wednesday, Court on Thursday~ALL DAY~then next weekend my buddy Melanie and her daughter will be here for nine days...yehoo!

We are running low on caribou...which is the best meat! Steve is talking about a trip to Adak...not sure how that will pan out for us since our freezer is full of salmon, clams, shrimp and moose. I am sure we could figure something out if need be...but really no time to go to Adak. Hard to believe, but Christmas is almost here.

Everyone have a great weekend!

Hunter has played outside
everyday after school since it snowed!
He was very proud of the big snowball!
This was Hunter's first days work...

I hardly ever wear mascara and
I wear lipstick about once every five years.
Going to make it more of a habit
We are babes!
I have a deal with the kids,
they always get at least one fun picture!

Adventurous weekend at the Brekke's

The view of Chugiak High School on Thursday!

As I visited my last classroom at Chugiak,
I was asked to join them to try many wonderful souffles.
It was just in time for lunch...
Out on Thursday to the Glacier Brewhouse,
lucky I went, it was my only chance to see Melly.
Friday night we celebrated the
Perdew's 50th anniversary at Sea Galley!
We ended the night at the Lucky Strike!

Girl Scouts Bridging Ceremony

What an afternoon...

The Girl Scouts conducted their first bridging ceremony in our troop. We had a potluck first then the Brownie troop came in to watch the ceremony. We built our own bridge. Our troop is organizing a recycling effort at our school for our community. We spent the rest of the meeting making posters to hang in the halls. Eyeglasses, aluminum cans, and electronics to start with, very fun! Lots of sugar and energy...hope the girls can sleep tonight;-) I know I will pass out once I make it to bed.

Our family!

Happy Tuesday!

Our weekend was awesome...Halloween, Church 2x, & a birthday party for Grammie Booth. Yesterday Steve was off so he had the privilege of taking kids to and from school. We had a great evening and a very yummy dinner of pork steaks and krub. The kids were not as excited as we were, but they are both sooo good at trying new things, at least at our house...teehee!

On our way to Trick-or-Treat!

Kendra & Jeremiah at the party!
Marina and me this morning...
She has been such a joy this week!
They both look like our kids!
We all have blue eyes and big lips.
Hunter is a babe too!

Our weekend...so far!

Happy Halloween!

We spent our morning at church getting our pictures taken for the directory and hopefully our Christmas cards if it works out. Then we went to the Dimond Walmart (Ugh!!!) to get supplies for Girl Scouts, we ended up getting our groceries for the week and spending way too much $$$.

The kids just finished chores and homework so they can go trick-or-treating. Yummy treats for mom and dad tonight too. Not sure what's for dinner, maybe just candy! teehee ;-P

Tomorrow is mom's birthday so Steve is making a big pot of his wonderful spaghetti and homemade bread. Chuck, Doreen, Kendra, Jeremiah, and mom & dad will be here for a birthday brunch.

Hope everyone has a
Great weekend!
Happy trails, Heather
